I call this quilt "Mommy's Lil Monkeys".
I have yet to label it! It's in the wash getting all crinkly and nice and soft!
And for the other pics! Can you see that I did the free motion quilting? I was very proud of that!
Ok, now this is the whirlygiggle quilt I'm working on...I LOVE the stick figure kids, and of course I had to incorporate the monkeys in again!
This is SO adorable!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job on the Quilt!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to try my hand at the 'whirlygiggle' pattern - you're making lots of progress!
Nothing sweeter than my boys curled up under their mama-made quilts watching a movie on the couch! Unless, that is, the smaller monkey falls asleep snuggling said quilt! *LOVE*
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! I have some of these fabrics and love them.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. :) Looks like you're doing lots of sewing these days. Thinking you'll be starting a business of it one day, or are you going to keep it a hobby?
ReplyDeleteLelia, DEFINATLY a hobby, I tried the selling thing once...too much of a pain. I like to sew, and want to keep it that way. I do it to relax, and every now and then I will do something for someone, and I hate it, I don't want to sew then!
ReplyDeleteSO I sew for fun, for me and the boys, fixing things for Lee, and doing baby gifts!
Your FMQ looks great. I can't wait to see the wirlygig all finished. Great job on the monkeys
ReplyDeleteI might make a whirlygiggle quilt too...inspired by my sister, of course.
